The Relationship of Jesus and David

The relationship between Jesus and David is of the utmost importance. The trouble of all the killing in the world of religion is directly related to controversy around this relationship. Christians die all the time for believing Jesus has the status of a God. The bible does have some strategy that is made to put an end to this problem and stop the flow of blood. The fact this intervention strategy exists shows God is not going to be absent and look at all the death and mayhem and never do anything about it.

When Jesus was here, He showed He is more honest with David than a lot of other people have chosen to be. One of the most important things David ever wrote is found in Psalm 110. There David wrote, 1 The Lord God says to my Lord the Messiah, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool. 2 The Lord will send forth from Zion the scepter of Your strength; rule then, in the midst of Your foes. 3 Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You will spring forth Your young men, who are as the dew. 4 The Lord has sworn and will not revoke or change it; You are a priest forever, after the manner and order of Melchizedek. 5 The Lord at Your right hand will shatter kings in the day of His indignation. 6 He will execute judgment in overwhelming punishment upon the nations; He will fill the valleys with the dead bodies, He will crush the chief heads of lands many and far extended. 7 He will drink of the brook by the way; therefore will He lift up His head triumphantly.

As mentioned before, Jesus shows He takes the word of David more seriously than some people do. Matthew 22: 41-46 proves this point about Jesus. There it says, Now when the Pharisees were still assembled there, Jesus asked them a question. Saying, What do you think of the Christ? Whose Son is He? They said to Him, the Son of David. Jesus said to them, How is is then that David, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, called Him Lord saying, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet? If then David calls Him Lord, how is He his Son? No one was able to answer Him a word.

Later on, the religious authorities in the sanhedrin showed they did not care what David said as much as Jesus does. Matthew 26: 63-66 shows these religious authorities are lying against David. There it says, The high priest said to Him, I call upon you to swear by the living God, and tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus said to him, You have stated the fact. More than that, I tell you. You will in the future see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Almighty and coming on the clouds of the sky. Then the high priests tore his clothes and exclaimed, He has uttered blasphemy! What need have we of future evidence. You have now heard His blasphemy. They then used the words of Jesus to condemn Him to death. Jesus said He is the One who fulfills the word of David and Daniel. He was not allowed to do this without being sentenced to death. Jesus is not the only One being thrown out here. So are David and Daniel. It is important to look at some other words of David and Daniel to see if there is evidence that they were given some other words to overthrow this decision against Jesus, David and Daniel. When it is shown both of them created another biblical figure who comes and leads Jesus back in, then it is certain David and Daniel have the last word against the sanhedrin.

David’s Psalm 110 is one of the most important declarations in the bible. Everybody, whether a believer or an atheist, should know what David says will happen in the near future. When it is shown how perfectly the bible is written to fulfill this word of David, it will make a person feel that Jesus is poised to come out and rule the world and end all the destruction. Each verse of Psalm 110 should be looked at carefully. Jesus said David was under the influence of the Holy Spirit when he called the Messiah by the name Lord and wrote this psalm. The words of other prophets will provide additional evidence that David was under the influence of the Holy Spirit when he wrote Psalm 110.

Verse 1 says Jesus will be in heaven until God defeats the enemies of Jesus. Who are the enemies of Jesus? And how exactly would God crush them?In order to answer these questions somebody must understand the strategy of the biblical prophets very well. Jacob says in Genesis 49:11 that there will be two prophetic vines of words which pertain to the messiah. This comment was made by Jacob in Egypt right before he died. Jacob said this before the bible was written. Then the prophets came and created two separate groups of statements. The first vine of words consisted a lot of information which helps identify who the messiah is when He comes for the first time. The second vine of words that Jacob refers to fulfills the word of David in Psalm 110:1 because it is terrible for the enemies of Jesus. The action in the choice vine is terrible for those who murder Israelis. It contains action against the murder of others as well, including the murder of biblical figures. It is also against those who want people to walk on by as little ones are killed alongside the road. It does break off a relationship with the qu’ran as well. It contains support for the idea that Jesus can indeed be called Lord, and He is more than a servant of allah.

Verses 5 and 6 say God will overthrow those who are in power and install Jesus as the King of the world. Verse 6 says a lot of people will die because they are guilty and are not eligible to see the return of Jesus.

Is there evidence that David can play a role in putting an end to this murderous controversy that he is associated with? Yes, there is. It is found in psalm 20. In this psalm David is speaking about a future biblical whi is yet to be born. There he says, 1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high and defend you! 2 Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion; 3 Remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice. 4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans. 5 We will shout and triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the name of our God we will set up banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. 6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving grace of His right hand. 7 Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God. 8 They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright. 9 O Lord, give victory; let the King answer us when we call.

This is a perfect association by David with the future biblical figure in Isaiah 52:7. David shows he knows perfectly well of the job he is going to do. This shows David is knowingly involved with a strategy that is designed to overthrow the current murderous environment in the world of religion.
